And The Competition Results Are Pouring In.... With results just now coming in from the California State Fair and the Los Angeles International Wine Competitions over the past two days, our winemakers have done it again: They've earned 42 medals in these two competitions alone. This includes 11 Golds; 15 Silvers; 4 Bronzes; 10 Best of Class; 1 Best of Region and 1 Best of California! This means our wines have earned a whopping 161 Medals to date in 2008 competitions, with: Hands down, there is absolutely no other winery in Southern California Wine Country that has scored this many awards in one year alone. Better still, at this pace and with the results still pending from a few other major wine competitions that have yet to occur, it's possible that South Coast Winery could very well be the most highly decorated award winning winery in the entire state of California this year; and quite possibly the highest decorated winery in the United States!
